“22/3 We Were There.” Is a fiction series based on the real experiences of 2 ex-students who were there during the terrorist attacks of 3/22/2016.When the 18-year-old students of the secondary school in Kontich want to leave for an end-of-year trip, two bombs go off in the departure hall of Brussels Airport.Although the students get out of the departure hall in one piece, each of them has to find their own way to deal with this trauma. A road that passes the necessary obstacles and is accompanied by the inevitable pain, love and friendship. Finally, they will find comfort in each other and forge new plans together. The series was a succes for Flanders commercial broadcasting platform VTMgo & is sold to Finland.
